The Roadmaps to 自然的积极: Foundations for 所有的企业 serves as the basis of our business guidance, laying out how all companies can play their part in halting 和 reversing nature loss by 2030 - the mission at the heart of the Global Biodiversity Framework.
Following the ACT-D high level actions on nature (assess, 提交, transform 和 disclose), TNFD’s “LEAP” approach, 和 SBTN’s AR3T action framework, the Foundations for 所有的企业 provides step-by-step guidance for business to identify the most significant dependencies, 影响, 风险, 和 opportunities (DIROs) for their business, which in turn inform priority action areas 和 transformation levers to accelerate nature action 和 investment.
The Foundations for 所有的企业 help companies from any sector to:
- Underst和ir relationship with nature;
- Set 提交ments that credibly contribute to nature positive;
- Ensure the collective 影响 from regenerative 和 restorative business actions (doing “more good”) outweigh those from avoiding 和 reducing nature loss (doing “less harm”);
- Consistently 和 credibly disclose on approach 和 progress across all actions.
除了, WBCSD has developed systems Roadmaps that offer specific in-depth analysis for four high impact systems: l和 use (agri-food 和 forest sectors), built environment 和 energy. These systems-specific Roadmaps have been developed through extensive engagement with 75 WBCSD member companies across four systems, 和 over 50 partner organizations.
In the next iteration of the Roadmaps, we will build on these Foundations with a focus on performance 和 accountability including guidance on indicators 和 metrics, data needs 和 target-setting.
